Intention
Jo Studios was created to design and produce with responsible intention. This is observed through the following models:
Reducing waste: Made to order production eliminates overproduction, limiting waste of materials and labour.
Reducing carbon emissions: Working with brands based in the Greater Toronto Area limits extensive carbon emissions from lengthy overseas transportation.
Repurposing: Larger material off cuts are set aside to make smaller accessories whenever possible.
Investing locally: Working with local brands fosters the growth and development of the Canadian fashion industry.
All designs developed and handmade in downtown Toronto - with care.
